We are pleased to announce that Jessie is now proudly owned by the Smith Family of South Carolina! She is once again the center of attention getting back into condition for eventing in 2006, teaching the Smith children to ride, and earning lots of cookies! Registered and Foundation Pedigree Certified 70% with the Appaloosa Horse Club and the Appaloosa Sporthorse Association, Band's Ginger Snap is a young 15 Hand 1100 lbs strawberry roan mare a with flaxen mane and full flaxen and white tail, 3 tall stockings, a full blaze, and a blanket.

She is a finished riding horse! Jessie earns her keep as the guests trail horse and kids lesson horse. She has shown halter, hunter, trail, equitation, and open. Finished by Tristin Hardy http://www.elfenridge.com/index2.htm , dressage judge, trainer, instructor, and upper level competitor, Jessie will also do well at the lower levels of dressage. Goes western or english. She enjoys taking it easy on the trails as much as the attention in the showring and is truly an all around horse who gets the job done!

As a broodmare, Jessie could have written the book! She is an easy breeder, conceives on her first cover, foals by the book with plenty of notice, is a great mom, and is outproducing herself! 100% color producer using only solid stallions to date! Her first foal, 2003 reg. ApHC gelding Gingersnappy Attire is a stunning chestnut roan with 4 high white stockings, a full blaze, and rump frosting sired by purebred Arabian GR Formal Attire. Her 2004 registered ApHC colt sired by Katahdin, reg. Katahbulous, jet black and white with a large spotted blanket placed in 3 Appaloosa futurities at 5 months of age and has been retained as our junior stallion prospect! In 2005 Jessie foaled her first filly, another huge knockout chestnut with lacey blanket, also sired by our TB stallion Katahdin.
